New Year's Fly In: Antechamber Bay

What better way to start the new year than to go for a fly? And what better place than one that has great scenery, a great beach, great food and great drink? Just leave the wine to your passengers!

Like we did a year ago, we invite you to join us at Chapman River Wines, Antechamber Bay, Kangaroo Island. It's a 10 minute walk to a gorgeous beach and for lunch they serve the nation's cellar door favourite: a platter to share with local meats, cheeses, pates dips and bread. There's also plenty of cakes to choose from.

Let's try to convene at the cellar doors at 1pm for lunch, but if the weather is up to it, try to arrive around 10am and go to the beach for a swim; let's make a day of it!

The airstrip is about 800m grass and gets regular use. It’s roughly 16/34 and has a power line a the Southern end and some small trees at the Northern end. The windsock is at the South Eastern end. S035 47.7 E138 04.1.
